Stripper Hardtops come in..
Who actually has one of the Factory no-option Hardtop Stripper Cars with the Roll-up Windows/Manual Locks, what does it weigh, and what were the Factory options if you know them..

Mine is a Stripper Car, came with the Manual Windows/Locks, Hardtop, etc..
It has the Red/Black non-power seats, and the things that is had from the Factory as options was Cruise Control, and A/C, Rear Defrost, that's it. Factory Chassis weight was appx. 3300lbs, I have it down to appx. 3235lbs. It had the Factory Casette player that I switched to a GM CD player. The good stuff it had from the Factory were the 1LE Sway Bars (front & back), it is in the codes in the Glove Box. Someone ordered it with all of this stuff, but the only thing that stopped it from being a 1LE car was that is had A/C, I asked some people that I know at the GM Dealership.
If you guys got something, keep the thread going..

The new 1996 is a hardtop with manual windows but has power locks
Car was 3550 lbs with me in it (so it'd be about 3350 curbweight).... and that 3550 was with a cage that weighed about 50-60 lbs so it's probably 3300 or so without me in it.....
And out of that 106 I think only like 20-30 were medium quasar blue..... i test drove two the day i bought my 1LE. one was a fully optioned T-top black 6 speed with leather, power everything.... I was coming from an auto mustang GT that ran 15.2 so it felt like a rocketship compared to my stang... Then I test drove the 1LE... made the black car feel like a friggin school bus..... Ran 13.87@102.5 bone stock down to the fram air filter....

Mine bone stock on some shitty tires (spun into second) with a K&N Air Filter that the previous owner had in it got me a 13.89@100mph. Some of these cars are factory freaks.
but power to weight will do that i guess.....

It's sad to see that my 1LE a car designed to "go around corners" is now a straightline drag car only taking turns in staging lanes and on select sunday drives in the neighborhood

It is hardtop, manual locks, manual windows, no cruise, no rear defrost, no power seats, pretty much the only thing it has is AC. Like stated above I was curious when I got it if it was a 1LE car, but found out that 96 1LE cars were WS6's. Oh well, I can probably say that I have an fbody that has pretty much no options whatsoever

My '95 fully optioned Trans Am with t-tops ran a 13.9@99...is it really worth not having all that stuff?
What is the code for the 1le sway bars? I doubt I have them, my energy suspension bushing kit went right on the sway bars, and I think they mention when ordering them that they don't work with 1le swaybars??
Oh yeah I only have 3 speakers, I don't know what it came with for a factory deck, when I bought it a AIWA cd player was in there and is still there. Where the two sail panel speakers should be I just have some black sheet stuff??
Do all 94 z28s have a oil cooler?? Curious there cause I have a oil cooler. Car also ordered with z rated tires.

But you ask if it's worth it??? yeah I still have a 1LE and it's one of 106 built that year..... your trans am is probably like one of 10,000 no diss intended believe me but they're not at all rare..... so the rarity of the model makes it worth it to me..... a 1LE car could be worth BIG money someday to a collector..... look at true SS Camaro's from the 60's.... or better yet yenko's.... or the factory big block cars of which very few were made.... who knows what the world will be like in like 2040..... a 1LE might be worth hundreds of thousands to the right person.....
