LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

HOW IN THE HECK DO YOU REMOVE #8 plug?!?!?!

Default HOW IN THE HECK DO YOU REMOVE #8 plug?!?!?!

I have been on this plug for an hr now.......i removed the starter which helped a little...any one know how to get this thing out?

whoops..never mind.. i read that this isnt ls1 section...
well also when i had my lt1 .... i got it from the top..with a special short socket, and open ratchet wrench.

On a LSx engine, you use a *BFH for the #8 plug.

that plug is not even that hard to get out.. just takes some patients..

If you connect 10 swivels and 5 extensions together, you can turn it from the drivers seat.

My #8 Plug is cake..it will be when I drop my 6.0 Iron Block build into it also. This is why..

My car has headers, so I'm not sure if that made it better or worse (probably a mixture depending on the plug) but I got #8 from underneath with a spark plug socket and open ended wrench on the end of the socket.

I had to remove the Starter and Y pipe, to get #8. (i have big arms)
