Same power, different prices. Get pacesetters

Most LT headers will flow better than mids, or shorties for that matter.
I had a good experience w/ Pacesetters, but I only had em in for about 6 months. No rusting or torquing issues, though.

Yes, if you've not got a set of headers yet, LT's will be best bet.

Get pacesetter.

I've got pacesetter LT's and like them. The Pacesetters get The same hp and are cheaper.

from what i have heard hooker headers are a higher quality header and have thicker flanges, both of the shops around here that i have been to dont recommend pacesetters, they work on mostly fbody cars...

but then again pacesetter is probably the best bang for your buck

but get LTs for sure no matter what you get

I was actually shocked at how nice the welds were on my pacesetters and the flange was just fine. If I'd had it to do over again, i'd have still got the same coated pacesetters on the car now.

Yea, mine were great. I had an old set of Pacesetter Shorties on it once upon a time, and they were crap. The LT's are nice.

if I were to buy another set, I would go with the pacesetters over the hookers I have now... simply because of price... I got a really good deal on my hookers, and that's the only reason I've got them instead...

I've seena couple pacesetter's break the welds where the tube meets the flange.

on top of that, it seems like my hookers still LOOK better than pacesetters under the hood... they both will rust under the car, but my hookers still look black for all you can see from under the hood, whereas all my friends with pacesetters (5 of 'em) their headers are rusted under the hood... they just don't look as good over time.

surprisingly, my hookers have ZERO leak problems on the driver's front primary where they slip-fit together, guess I lucked in to a good set..

personally, I prefer tube routing of the pacestter on the pass. side, over that of the hooker's... you have more room to get your hands down in there to change all the plugs. but I prefer the hooker design on the driver's side, for the fact that putting the bolts in is MUCH easier, w/o the #1 tube running over top of all the rest.

hookers all around, pacesetter if you've gotta pay for 'em!

My pacesetters have the thickest flange I have ever seen on a header. Keep in mind that Pacesetter has made design changes/improvements since they started selling these.

I went with pacesetters due to the price and also the fact that each bank is one piece where as with the hooker LT's you have a pipe that you have to install on drivers side that goes around the steering knuckle; my decision was completly a personal prefrence thing i dont know which pipe routing way is better.
And also took me about 30 min to install plugs and wires without the alternator
