I bought my code scanner from Kragen. It is made by AutoXray and will read OBD1 and newer. It is not as cheap as the OBD2 scanners but it will read any codes you have. You can also get a connection cable from AKM cables (possibly e-bay or in the for sale section) and download freescan which will allow you to read the codes and sensor data.

I love your response that was not necessary. I was looking for help not an insult. I never once said that I knew anything about working on cars. I have put in 2 clutches, 2 sets of heads, and 2 different cams in the car in my sig. I think that I know a little bit about these cars but I guess not as much as you.
