car barely runs and cuts out bad????

Default car barely runs and cuts out bad????

ok so i just got the car its a 94 z with a 383....well had it about two weeks and it started to do this...it starts banging out and cuttin out real bad like a spark plug miss or a fuel problem it back fires real bad when it starts to do this and gets worse the longer you drive....well i replaced the wires, fuel filter, plugs,and on monday i replaced the opti spark with a genuine ac delco one ran a little better for 3 days with a small miss then it started to get worse and worse, today started to die a few times im kinnda stumped what should i do or where should i go from here????

I could be wrong but knowing that you did all of that could it need major internal clensing. Maybe you need to SEAFOAM the car.

unhook your maf and drive it for alittle bit and post up what happens.

sd mode is also more conservitive on fuel and timing.

you can drive forever w out a maf and the car will run fine!

You can but why would you. It makes more sense to fix the problem.

ok so i put my friends maf on last night ran worse my mustang did what yall are talkin bout and i unpluged it ran better so i changed and fixed problem....so i will try to unplug it on the camaro today

Once you have done that, if it still runs like crap check your map sensor. SD like i said before is more conservitive on fuel and spark advance so if unhooking it makes it better then you know its probley a spark issue. There is still the chance of fuel problems but that should have been the first thing you checked.
