Trans am hatch

I don't know why I didn't ask this before, but it just hit me. My car is a trans am, but I have a formula hatch. Was there any option from the factory where you can get a formula hatch for your trans am? Or was my hatch replaced? I remember when I first cleaned out my car, I pulled out the rear seats and there was some glass under it. Also a few bits in the center console compartment.
You think the glass broke and the guy replaced the whole hatch?

Possibly? I don't know if any T/A's came with the firebird hatch or not? There was a guy I went to HS with that had a car identical to yours color and all (minus the wheels) and his had the T/A front clip and badges, but it had a firebird hatch? So, I really don't know? I'm sure if you took the vin # down and contacted a GM dealer they could probly tell you every option that car came with.

In 1993 and 1994 only the Trans Am GT had the high rise spoiler... Regular Trans Am had a low rise spoiler. I think everything depended on how the car was ordered, everything relates to the z-rated tires, the 155mph speedometer, the 108mph speed limiter.

Hey well I found out something today after messing with the shifter. There was a pretty large piece of glass down in the console. Looks to me like it's from the t-top. So I guess the t-top glass broke and not the hatch.
In 93 the trans-am had the batwing but no leather. GM made it an option in 94 as the Trans-am GT which included leather and all the other bells and whistles. In 95 the trans-am was fully loaded.

I saw a 1997 trans am and it had the low rise, I was kind of confused at that time since I thought that car was a 95 or older... but it was weird that it had the taillghts looking almost brand new... car resulted to have crash history on the rear, and seemed like the seller fixed it and couldn't find a high rise spoiler.
