Here's a question: My car came with a CAI, it doesn't have anything to identify it on it, but I think from pictures it's a Moroso. Only thing is, the plate that goes above the filter is missing. Could this cause problems?

 

With the Moroso CAI, I thought the tube was supported by the steel plate that isolates the filter, so how could it stay in place? Although, it does look like the radiator cover might hold it up... I'm not sure, but I should have mine tomorrow to find out. Anyway, to answer your question... As long as the system is stays in place, there is no real risk with that plate missing other than you'll be sucking in warm air since it's no longer isolated from the engine compartment.

 

just take it to Advance Auto. Tell them you lost the receipt for it. after you bought it. They SHOULD replace it since it has a million mile lifetime warrenty if not just have them look for that size in their computer. Should be able to track it down~Cole~
