Then you should be able to handle it.. just bolts, a few busted knuckles, and a little bit of wiring.

That will help also. I am running LT's, Y-pipe, and a Dynomax Bullet dumped infront of the Rear Axle. Nice gain in power, and sound gets deeper..

I'd get gears first, most of the the lt1's came with the 2.73's, I have 3.73's in my M6 T/A, I wish she had 4.10's. Shes a little over 2k at 70 MPH. I've also got the ceramic coated Pacesetter LT headers, they are also a good investment. But depending on how much you want to spend I would go with the gears first, they are cheaper to get the job done right, if you get headers you might as well get a cat back unless you plan on running true duels, which I personally have, but wouldn't do again.

4.10s will wake it up, 3.73s if you dont want that big of a change, both don't effect gas milage more than 1-2 mpg with a 6-speed in my experience.

Myself being a nitrous junkie...I say spray it...More horsepower for your dollar, and oh boy you'll feel it. I've lost count to how many bottles I've gone through.

He's an M6, which came with a 3.42. The only gear change that makes sense is a 4.10, if a gear change is in order.
You already have the rest of the exhaust, so a set of headers would finish what you have already started.
Next would be a good set of gears.
If you want to change the rear tires, 275x40x17 fit in the wheel wells with no problem. You could probably pick up a used pair of wheels in the For Sale section. But it will eat up a significant amount of $$.
And the 52 mm TB is the correct choice, since it matches the intake perfectly.
