Can LT1s have catch cans?

they can, im wondering if they need them though? many complain about oil in their intakes after heads and cam work so i would assume so. if its advisable ill get one before the engine goes back in my car.

I finally got mine hooked up the right way, and after driving from Charlotte to Lexington (45 mins) at 2000 rpm I collected a good bit of oil in mine. After driving around my home town and then driving back to charlotte, I would say mine is about 1/4 of the way full...I would recomend doing it.

anyone know where to get those little inline catch cans? kinda clear and such i dont want to drop $90 on a bigass catch can iv seen the little ones on many LS1's in my area but always forget to ask

Can I get a catch can on ebay and use a "Purolator Breather Filter" from partsusa.com or w.e. and be ready?

Home Depot sells the Husky one that I used. It is about 11 bucks. You can find them back in the air compressor area, as for they are made to seperate water from the compressor before it reaches the guns. The thing does not come with fittings, so you will need to pic up two, 3/8" fittings for the hose to fit on it.

just ordered my purolator thing for the valve cover gonna get the inline catch can tomorrow.. im sure those 3/8 fittings are in the same area ?

Yeah, they are next to each other. If not just go the plumbing area and find the fittings area.

plugs onto the valve cover runs to the TB

on the intake manifold that PCV runs to catch can then TB
