Default CC306 guys what is your idle set at? Video inside.

Mine idles at 1k right now, Im thinking about lowering it to 750 so it will be a little more choppy. Here's a video of cold idle with the cut out open...

that things lopes a LOT harder than i thought it would with an idle that high! im hoping mine will lope pretty hard with the cutout open but to keep things civil i want it to be kind quiet through the catback. how does yours sound with the cutout closed?

I have mine set a 1k too, it just doesn't want to idle any lower then that for me. Sounds nice with those cut outs.

no matter what people say how bad flowmasters are, they sound GREAT! That cam sounds sick too! Almost makes me just buy that one instead of a custom ground one, lol.

Loosen the bolts on the oil pan so it comes down some and then try to shimy it in there.

Ive tuned a couple of 306 cam and the key for me at least was too give it a little more timing at idle. Especially if you want it to idle at like 800 and so on.
