Default First time at the track

So this was my first run ever at a track. I was nervous as hell too. I know once I kick the jitters I can do better. My rt was .350 with a 60' of 2.1x. My launch was pretty shitty, I've done way better many times on the street. My biggest fear though was that i was going to get stuck at the line spinning away and I ended up staying on the clutch a little to long. I also had about 2/3 tank of gas I know theres more potential but my main goal coming in was to not run a 14. It was a whole lotta fun, and a different experience. I'll be going again more through the year.

Only mods are FIPK, GMMG, and hurst billet plus shifter.

Good run! That was actually a pretty good time for a convertible with those few of mods. that vettes time was pretty pathetic.

13.95? Looked quicker than that. Your launch seemed slow but you picked up speed fast. You will easily hit mid 13's with good tires.

nice run...the only way to really improve is to practice, so get more seat time and as you get more comfortable with what you're doing & what the car is going to do, it will be a lot less nerve-racking.

Thanks guys for the comments, famoso is north of bakersfield in the outskirts of macfarland, it is a easy shot east on the 46 from hwy 99. My friend in the vette got skrewed with his time because as he was staging he accidenty got a redlight and it messed with his e.t. His car is actually pretty quick off the line but loses a little steam up top. unofficially we predict around a 14 flat with a good launch. it was both of our first times that day.
