btw your just playing into that group of people who like ******* up there opti if u keep filling it up so when u buy that $1xx water pump go ahead an buy a $200 opti because you'v probably already hosed it

Ya, I've heard of the little things that can and will go wrong with the lt1's opti and things. Does not sound like fun.

I don't know where the right side of the nose is but have you gotten under there and looked for where the source of the leak was? It seems like a sudden problem for your car so your pump could of gone out or it could just be a hose. Get under there and check.

 

Could be many things. Prob the water pump. Check it for cracks. Start it up and see where it is leaking from and go from there. Good luck.

 

i will check but it mite be coming from the reservoir or i think i need a pump but i will check in the morning

 

he said it was coming out when he put it in so its probably coming out of the resevoir and the radiator is probably old as hell and gummed up because it gets up to 210 real quick but he didn't say anything about it overheating so its not completely bad yet. have you had a radiator flush at any point? if the coolant was coming back out of the resevoir your opti is straight.

 

wow they moved my post but ah i think it needs to be flushed it just had some work done in july so this is the ideas i have that could be wrong with it ok . radiator is old, need a new water pump any other ideas
