Default Engine shutoff at 100mph! LT1 experts help!

Whats up guys ...

JUST LITERALLY got the new cam and valvetrain installed by hsw. They heat cycled it and told me I was good to go if I wanted to beat on it a bit.

Heres what happened:

Got on the turnpike and saw an open stretch .. so decided to punch 3rd. I tached out 3rd at 6300 and tapping the rev limiter (not knowing where it was ... first time driving car with cam). Then shifted into 4th and punching it for a solid second then POP POP POP POP POP. Engine shuts off.

I tried to start her back up, and it popped a bit and wanted to turn over, but never did. Keep in mind that I just got a brand new gm heavy duty timing set put on.

Possible problems?:

fuel pump/filter went out? (is stock)
engine flooded when I hit the rev limiter?
something else??????

HELP ME!

my car did something similar after chasing sooo many wires i found out the fuse box had been messed with when my motor was swapped and the pink thin wire was shorted to ground under the box turns out it was for the crank sensor,i repaired the wire and all has been well.this may not be your problem but it sure seems closely related

Might also check for a Burt wire. If you think fuel pump check your pressure. Also change your fuel filter to be safe they don’t cost that much.

Do you have a scanner, you must scan it to see what is wrong
