Im working on borrowing a pair of street radials, and gettin a couple of practice runs in at the track a couple days before.

My spair tire, and jack is already gone, im guna take out the back seats, and the passanger seat. The radio, and all the speakers.

Any thing else?
There is no need to take out your radio and speakers. Thats a lot of work for not much reward.

If you don't have it already, wire yourself up a manual fan switch. I've only been to the track myself once, that was a few weeks ago. I tried to leave on the last yellow but redlight and spun for 3 gears, if on street tires you are going to have to be nice on letting the clutch out.

But back on the fan switch, I didn't even pop my hood open to cool down, I just ran my fans while waiting to run again, I was laughing at all the other Lt1 cars there for having their hoods open, my temp wasn't over 170 on my passes when I got to the line. Its like $5 in supplies to do it.

So are you permanently removing these items from your car, or going to put them back in after??

I was guna put them back in, but if it wont help i wont even take them out. I have been wanting a manual fan switch for a while, i think i'll do it.

So go at the last yellow light. Got it. I dont know if any of them have ever raced before either, so ill have a little more insight than them.
