I love my th350 and wouldn't ever go back to a 4l60E even though I lost OD and 1st gear is higher.

Your 60s should be in 1.5s also.
My last 383 ran 12.49 at 111 N/A on 370 horsepower with drag radials. Even worse, it ran 12.8 at 108 with slicks and skinnies.

I rode in 383LT1's car last week and IMO it looses a lot of power on the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift. The tranny seems to slip between shifts, but when Randy nailed it from a roll it pulled like a raped ape til he shifted it, then the car seemed to slow down. I think the tranny doesnt transfer the power like it should on the shifts, and you wont feel the power again til the tranny stops slipping. But i'll tell you one thing, its a lot faster than my cam only car that put down 347hp/324tq with tranny problems as well.

Hey Randy, give me a call when you have a chance.

My bad, I was already asleep when you called me. I had to get up @ 7AM so I can go to work, but I barely saw the call a while ago. I'll let my bro know about the tires, but I might get some 275/50/15 M/T et street radials for my car. If I get them before you buy a set, you can borrow them when we hit the track.

I think something my be wrong with your tune. As it has been posted before your MPH-60ft-ET dont really match up. I have went in to the 11s with a 110mph and a 1.602 60ft. There is no way you should have lost that mph just switching out the trans.

What about your shift points? Are you sure your shifting the car high enough. Your times look similar to my car short shifting about 500rpms .
