They are made by Edelbrock even if you get one from GM.
They are a step backwards, what are you trying to accomplish?

Well I've got an LT1 and an old corvette, I want the power, but i was also liking the carbed look which would be easier. theres not alot of room in the car for all the pcm and sensor crap... but it can be done..

An LT1 without it's injection is just another smallblock. Would be more effient money wise to just stick with a gen 1 if using a carb.

Power wise the heads are the biggest advantage the LT1 has and the Vortec heads which are dirt cheap for gen 1s match them pretty well or there is an endless array of aftermarket choices.

there was a guy with a black trans am with a gen 1, and the holley scoop sticking outta the hood. I'm considering using a carb setup, because i cant afford dfi. however, there is better power in an lt1 with fuel injection.
parts are 1/3rd the cost for gen 1 motors, but headers and motor mounts, k-members, have to be dealt with.

you can make an LT1 turn 7,000+ rpms cheaper with a carb than you can with fuel injection.

Or you could just do things well and make serious power within that limitation.

I got an intake from summitracing.com it was about 250 bux and i love it! The motor is in an 86 monte carlo SS and i threw a carb on it to make it look more original!

Thanks in advance.

We machine the Edelbrock EFI manifold to work with the LT1 heads. You still have fuel injection but you get rid of the LT1-4 manifold, which is a major restriction on the LT1-4 motor.
I have done many of these manifolds; I have guys putting 550HP to the wheels with this set up. If you would like to see what it looks like check out my website www.PortPros.com
Click on Tony’s motor and you'll see the set up. Great thing about it you can run your injectors, the manifold comes with the fuel rails and hardware. We machine it to fit your LT1 heads, we also port it and can plug the distributor hole and thermostat housing if you want. We can also remove the thermostat housing. It's the best way to make big power, get rid of that LT1 manifold.
If you would like to give me a call I'd be happy to go over the details with you.

i agree with you there but i also was thinkin that a plain 350 would be cheaper yet for the same Hp.

Harold, I can't find a damn thing on LS or LT motors or intakes on your website. You're in dire need of a competent web designer. NAvigation doesn't make sense, some links are broken, it's a mess.

I hear good things about your work... but I can't even get an idea if I want to spend my money with you the way the site's set up.
