Default lt1 oil pan- same as other sbc pans?
other than the sensor plug of course, are they the same?

I believe its the same as any SBC engine as long as its a one piece rear main seal. I think 86-up SBC engines.

Maybe someone will post up, but I think the dipstick might be on the wrong side. Don't count me on it though, I'm not sure.

I think 86up are all the same like Trans said. Older than that they are on the other side and 2 piece rear main. But can't you convert them to one piece?

forgot about the rear maian seal part. so yea it seems like it would be 86 and up. thanks guys

FYI, some of the Vortec truck pans will hold one more quart of oil and will still clear the K-member.
