how did you get the baffles in there?!?!

i got a 3" cowl hood on right now and i need 3/4" in the front for it to clear.

i need to trim the radiator cover more underneath. my MTI lid will hit, but the stocker wont.

i dont get how a 3" cowl wont clear yet the LT1 WS6 hood will and its shallower.
