Thanks man.. I'll just beat them with their own ****, modded with some oldschool ideas..
And the best thing, it's paid for, $50/month Insurance, and only gets emissions hit in like 4 states cause according to the Vin #, it's a OBDI car...
****, even the LS2 Factory doesn't come with EGR or A.I.R...

That's what you get when you deal with people who are either ignroant, young (See: Ignorant), have money (See: Ignorant) or got a new graduation gift (See: Ignorant).

Stupid people **** me off. I mean it too, it's a huge pet peeve of mine. If I didn't have self control I'd go postal lol I thankfully stay away from those kind of people, so I never have to hear people gloating about any sort of car.

i hardly think its fair to label all young people ignorant. are some yea, but theres just as many who know what they got and dont always run their mouths. of all my friends withs LS1's ive only had problems with 2 and theyre not really even problems, more aggressive ball busting than anything. and that just makes it that much sweeter if you win, and if you lose you can always throw the its an LT1 excuse , its a win win situation. the rest are a lot more tolerant of other cars, fbody or not.

I was only referring to those who are bashing the LT1. I wasn't saying all young people are. I'm not all that old, only 24, but I'm thankful and happy to say that I'm not like the majority of kids my age. Giving into trends, becoming and acting like people they're not. Anyone who still knows a thing or two and still wants to bash something (LT1) that isn't as "inferior" as they're making it out to be, is either naive then or have an over inflated Ego

I think this is from Terminal Velocity

well all i got to say is no one here really unless they are rich and can pay for someone else to do it, mod their ls1 cars. There are two sts turbo vettes in this town. lol. one c5 and one c6.

But what i was gunna say is "Got boost?". If you were really worried about getting beat by the next fastest car in the LT1... build plan as follows

*Tc76MPS (or blower of choice.... turbo is best!)
*twin intake pumps (for budget fuel system capable of feeding a monster)
*Forged low compression shortblock
-For 600hp and down stock crank COULD be used to save money
-H-beams aren't that much money
-forged dish pistons
*cam, springs, retainers
*for big power.. porting heads with packages such vendors like AI and LE offer, could result in obsurd amounts of power. LoL.

as for EMS your choice. some people are having luck with factory pcm some jsut dont **** around and go aftermarket

whos worrying what ls1 people say then? lol.
If you took a loan out for a nice ls1 car and went and picked up a Lt1 car you could get a LOT done with all the extra cash there. Build a car that not too many cars at all will be running down.

lol... i just gotta preach boost to people... just get ready to spend $$$

I don't have to worry much about the LS1s.
Once they see the direct port setup (which aint hooked up yet even) and then find out there is a TH400 in it nobody wants to race me.
Alot of them could kill my stock internal LT1 but I win through intimidation.

It happens, just imagine, when it was 1993-97 and the LT1 guys talked **** to me in my 3rd gen, i said fuckem, it was slower then, but now it is faster than any stock LS1 out there, and still kills some with mods, but now i am a LT1 owner too, but i just know they dont think i am saying my **** is somthing it aint, it is stock, and they barely pull away. They dont say **** to me, but there are slower cars. They usually BS and say" Watch out for the LT1" Funny cause as many, i will have a stroked 6.0 block after the LT1 dies.

It's really quite simple actually...

Anytime some cocky LS1 owner starts giving me $hit, I just call over my buddy Ellis (TwoFast4lv), and have him give them "The LT1 Stare."

I would show you guys a sample of what I'm talking about, but the one time that I attempted to capture this phenom on film, my camera exploded.

Yeah...

Just go look over the the Kill Section of this site. I get sick of hearingpeople say "**** Mustang Owners" when its the LS1 owners that are the cocky ones.

My brother has a '99 TA LS1 with a catback, lid, smooth bellows and Predator tune. He is pretty cocky about his. He even dug up a video on Streetfire with an LS1 beating a guys supercharged LT1 and wanted me to watch it. I hope he thinks it is going to go down that way. I'm just being patient getting all the bugs worked out of my car and getting the tune squared away. I'm going to have it on video when it goes down for sure . lol

Except the TPI had just a wee bit more TQ than the LT1, so stock for stock the TPI should win. My memory is fading with TPI numbers but I know it had 245hp and I think 345ft/lbs. Lighter car too, the late 3rd Gens were like 3250lbs I think.

Doesn't really matter lol I miss my TPI. I think it was much faster than it should've been for what was done (free mods and tune).
