The one experience I learned from spacers, is NEVER AGAIN. While it increased power at a certain RPM range, it seemed to decrease off the line. Then again, this was a 90 Suburban TBI. The NEVER AGAIN Part? Well, things don't bolt up the same after. And when it comes to something that isn't Fly-By-Wire, you're going to screw everything up. I for one don't feel like eating up almost an inch of my throttle cable (and with mine, the detent too).
They used to have these in Summit for TPI/LT1. I haven't seen them anymore though.
