Its funny you say this when you always reference the racecar that uses AI heads... oh wait, thats not a racecar though

For $1300, those AFR's will be nice... just run a better cam then a cc305.

I have learned from each experience and I try to pass that advice on to others on this board. If you want to know what I gained in sponsorship????????? I will tell you.

1. Machine work.
2. Nitrous equipment.
3. Tuning help.

Sponsorship Total....... $ 3,500.00

The rest came out of my pocket. AFR castings, All the engine components, Fuel system, transmission, 9" rear, suspension, $2500 roll cage, FAST XFI, ......etc etc....the list goes on and on. Basically I have paid for 90% of this new setup. All the other years were 100% me.

You said "a sponsorship ***** is not an objective source for infomation "
So I guess someone copying my combo will yield bad results? I don't steer people to use my sponsors just to keep my end of the bargain, I send them to the companies I know produce results! I do not and will not give advice to someone that is not for the right choice for them. I also sometimes send people to my sponsor's competition because they may be able to help them in a different way. I have never bad mouthed another company and will not. The other companies are good as well and have proven results. I express my opinions just like you do on this board.

People like you are why I may just stop giving advice and watch people make the wrong choices because people like you drive them to do. Get a life!

Peace out
This is so true!! That guy needs to

I've been speaking with Lloyd. About the heads he says them so much more horsepower there if I do just a little more porting. He says then they will match good with the le2 or the xfi 230/236. I guess I'd change my mind I'm going a little wilder. He is going to give me a price tomorrow I'll let you know what he says tomorrow.

I guess they were good numbers. Especially for back in 2004 at 3600 lbs.

A friend's friend of mine is selling his car. He's taking off his le2.2 heads and cam. Putting back on the stock heads but doesn't have a cam. He wants to trade me for my 305 cam so he can put his back to stock and sell it it's a le2.2 cam. He has a guy lined out to buy the heads but he doesn't want to cam. It is the le2.2 cam now that I got this came. I'm going to change my build plans. I will always have the choice to sell this probably more people would want this came then the 305. The le2.2 has only 2000 miles on it. The guy bought a 2000 Corvette. So now I will have to build the block to the.le2.2 cam and match the heads to this came some say it should be perfect together. Lloyd thinks I should pour them a little more I think I may lead them the way they are. Rob also agrees with this. But he thought I should use the 305 cam but I can't pass up this opportunity even if I save it till I want a bigger cam which everyone ends up doing. So I'm thinking of starting with this can. I get the heads tomorrow let everyone know what they look like
