Mixing green with orange should not causing a "gelling" problem like I've read numerous, numerous times.

What will happen though, is the two together will lower the corrosion protection significantly. I do not recommend mixing the two unless you're in a pinch.

The gelling theory has long stood cuz I've read it/heard it for a while myself. Is it true? Dunno. I ain't gonna try it though.

Actually, it does cause a brown goop when they mix. My dad mixed the green and orange in my moms 98 olds mini-van. It was a big mistake, it stopped up everything and warped the heads. You could see the brown stuff collecting all in the resevoir.

The brown stuff was oil and coolant since the intake gaskets suck on those vans. And yes there was a lawsuit about it dex cool supposedly is bad. Who the hell knows. I think if it has a leak or is going to leak doesnt matter the color. I used to be a GM tech. 3.1 3.4 3.8 4.3 5.7 pretty much all of them with them stupid plastic intake gaskets leak. Or even worse plastic upper plenums that water and exhaust etc run thru. Brillant engineering feet i say
