The would be for a 95-97 vented Optispark, you would need the more expensive one. Either way, Jegs sells them cheaper.

just like that huh, pretty easy right. Actually thats a lot of work and you could **** it up pretty easy if you have the timing off. If you want to go that route then bring it to a shop and have it done, or have someone do it that knows what they are doing.

how do you tell if you have an unvented opti vs a vented opti, not just from the year but how can you tell by looking at the opti?

Yeah actually it isn't that hard. But i guess that is why your car is stock cause it cost so much in labor to pay someone to do it. I was knocking the non vented, but i had no luck with them... So when i was building the motor i decided to switch it

Actually my car isnt stock, and i do as much of the work on it i can, i just havent updated my sig because im not done. If there is something i cant do i have my father in law come help me, but to stand there and tell someone that doing a cam job is "easy" is a joke, it is a major overhaul that an inexperienced person could easily screw up and end up having to pay several thousand to fix it when all he needed was a 300 new opti. Which is a much easier solution than tearing apart the front of your engine.
