Black smoke is gas not oil oil is a blueish color. You car is running rich and that is what is causing it. Mine does that when its cold but once it warms up and the computer takes over it seems to stop.

You don't even know anything about O2 sensors, and you want to change them yourself? Lets hope it's not the passenger side, for your sake.

Bosch make fine O2 sensors as well.

I paid $18. Then again, mines a non-heated one wire old design.

But many people have found that any other non OEM 02 sensors seem to not like our cars. for the price no reason not to do with what works.

+1 on the ACDelco oxygen sensors i had bosch sensors in my car and it still threw a code and once i swapped in ACDelco's it ran good again i would highly recommend staying away from the bosch sensors in the lt1 cars

Umm. Wait you say you have LT's in ur sig right? Then they are a snap. Should be on the end of ur collector just spray them with some Fabulous blaster and let it sit for a bit, then they should come right out.
