Eh, just use a regular socket. I didn't need to pull the alternator or starter either, although pulling the alt would make it easier. Didn't see the point of removing the starter, since it has nowhere to go with the y-pipe there.

dropping the starter down helped me by allowing a bit better reach to the back 2 passenger side plugs. When we were doing them on stock manifolds it was always a chore, we'd just remove the intake stuff, alternator, and lower the starter to try and make things easier.

We also used to use a spark plug socket with one side cut out of it, But I did them once without that as well. Its tricky for sure.

the 5/8 socket with a wrench fitting is the best. use a 3/4 wrench on it in tight areas where a ratchet wont fit or will hardly fit.

Yep. Revelation brings up a good point. The wrench will be the only thing to get the rear pass. side plug out with stock manifolds.

I'm an idiot. I just did it, when I could have waited less than a month to do them when I put my LTs on...But nooooo, I had the box sitting there so I just had to go and do it. I have a sickness. lol

I have no AC and the Fire Wall Panel Mod.. so that definately helps. I use the Plug Socket and a 3/4 Wrench, took me 35 min with LT's.
