well i would say (givin your car is manuel) its all in the driver. i know the lightning is automatic so it's all up to you, i'd say the lightning is gonna win cause your a little sissy girl driving a fake *** firehawk with wil's id badge by the shifter.....your so gay you should be in asm1

I raced one at our local track when my car was running, and all I had was a CAI, full exhaust, and some rear suspension parts. He caught me off the light cause I was lookin at my tach, but I ended up running .2 faster then him by then, but he still passed the line before me by like .02.

what do you think is the best around about range to launch rpm wise on zr rated falken street tires. i have (m6) ram air, borla exhaust,and hypertech, hurst short throw shifter, i am racing him tonight at the track so i will post who wins.

Well we just got back from the track. This was my very first time out with it since I picked up the Lightning 4 months ago. Bone stock went 14.3 The guy who I bought it from also went 13.5 with it before i bought it. So I know it can do it now its all up to me. As for the firebird he went 14.8 I know he can knock out a better time but it was also his first time out to the track.
I had a 95 firehawk and I can def tell the lightning is faster then my hawk was.

that is what i said my r/t was a really crappy 9.52 1/4 was 14.8 mph 96.4 i launched at 2500 rpm. i know there is something wrong ,but this was my first time at the track and i really did not know what to launch at. so if you have any suggestions let me know because i am going back saturday. and im going to run it untill i get in the 13's because i know it is capible of that

^^^ ummm... Correct me if I'm wrong but,... your RT could be anything but, the actual 1/4 mile timer for your lane doesn't start till you move. So, if you really want to see what you can do, go out and line up and dont worry about launching perfectly with the light. Just let it turn green and then launch however you feel confortable and bang out that 1/4. Dont worry about whoever is beside you, since you'd only be checking your own time form when YOU move off the line.

01 to 04s only came with 20 more hp because of an upgraded intercooler and a little bit different supercharger. They are under rated. If you looks up specs for a 99-00 they say 14.4 which i made on my first pass ever on a track. The 01-04 are rated at 13.9 whihc they easily beat too. So like siad above they are a little under rated.
Texas_TA whats up bro? Id like to go to the track with you when i get back to texas but unfortunatly the truck is staying here in PA. It wont get to see texas until march. But you can run my bronco all day long haha
btw transam1577 is justin with the red firebird incase ya hadent figured it out. But hopefully by the time i go back home for good ill have some mods done.

hey gregg wats up im glad to see you kept the lt1 ta i decided to keep mine by the way what kind of time did you get at the track last time you went, because i am trying to figure out why my time sucked so bad but i think it is just not knowing how to actually run it at the track,being that i am so used to the street. im gonna try again saturday but we will see what happens
