dual plane conversion anyone done this?
Would this be a decent intake if your not revving past 65-6800? Would there be anygains to it?
Whats everyones opinion?

Of course in that thread we basically said it cannot be done, But about a month ago I talked to Wilson manifolds and they said they EFI dual plane intakes all the time, they said it would not be a problem.
I would definatly think about it if I could go back in time, I have a LE Edelbrock LT4 intake that should be coming back from LE here in about 1-2 weeks though
First, the bad news:
Question:
I just looked at your website, and I didn't find any pics/pages for a carb conversion elbow that will fit an LT1 throttle body. Are you guys still making these?

is still a link to that old page somewhere. I don't advertise them
because I'm too busy (most of the time) with the intake elbows alone.
Fuel rails are $145 to match.
I did that one for a customer, and I didn't get any info on
horsepower/torque gains.
I'm sure you could get creative and use a newer single blade GM
throttle
body and elbow, you'd just have to wire it and make a throttle cable
bracket.
I don't know what car he used that for, but it was really tall when I
got done with it. He probably had a cowl hood.

The monoblade elbow Aaron makes will work for a dual bore LT1 TB.
BTW Aaron JUST made this elbow for me 3 or 4 months ago.

Uhhh you bolt it on the front, JUST like a monoblade. Why wouldn't it work?
If you take a stock intake that has been cut for a monoblade you can still bolt a dual bore stock style TB on it, what's the difference? Mounting holes are the same.
I can bolt a stock style right on mine.

GM style single blade is what it says......my 1300 cfm Arizona Speed and Marine TB....IS a GM style single blade.
I am sure he still makes them, he JUST made mine 3or 4 months ago.

But if you really want to do it, you could do away with the elbow and get one of these from say, holley, to just throw a name out there. Im sure there are more out there. You will have to get a little creative with the intake ducting but its not really a big deal.
