if you set your O2 to read alcohol you would target 10:1 a/f. But if you leave the O2 settings on gasoline you target similar numbers as gas. But in fact you can run leaner at WOT on E85 vs. gasoline. Most pump gas guys say 11.5-11.7 is safe while E85 guys run in the low 12's a/f safely. I had a glogged fuel filter which leaned my engine to almost 15:1 on a pass down the track at 20psi and no detonation at all. Try that on pump gas, or even race fuel for that matter.

The E85 has to run a richer part throttle mix, this is the area where you need the richer mix. Yes, WOT can remain the same. This is why the E85 flex fuel trucks run a larger injector than the stock 5.3's.

Around 35/65 E85/Gas is a fun combo. It's like running 110 but $3/gal cheaper lol

Thats not true

In other countrys you can by a lotus elise with the E85 package or so

It makes more power since they tune it more aggersive, your car needs to be up to par to run it. And you need to have a very good tune to see gains etc...

I have e85 in my area. Question is that my car is tuned for 93, would putting e85 in have any advantages on my setup? Mods in sig! Forgot to add compression is 10.1

once again if tuned for the E85 you will see power gains. not to mention no more soot in your tailpipes.... fuel mileage will suffer but the cost will offset that. Expect to run about 6* more timing advance with the E85
