Whats up merv, the T/A is almost done (parts wise) putting it together around March. It will be ready for summer. BTW Good kill on the C6 Z, don't mind the haters, they don't understand drag racing, lol.

I broke my rear end hitting a curb when wipping a bitch. So now I have a GU6 rear from a 99 LS1 car ^_^ Bigger brakes, better posi, and now I got some nice 5 spoke rims!

^^Them bigger brakes suck my friend..you can't run a 15" Drag Lite..in the front they are great, but I would rather have my LT1's in the back..

Suck for drag racers, but are fine for a DD who won't see smaller than 16" rims They're only .3" bigger anyways.

Hey Merv. Ive followed your build and always been real interested in what you did, but I always tried to stay nuetral cause apparently lot of local guys hate you and Ive never met you to draw my own conclusions.

But you just got a +1 from me. Nice setup and handled nicely. I love all the excuses people make, its racing and someone has to loose which if they are a decent driver is usually directly related to THEIR setup so THEY shouldnt bitch.

Ive had a simialr thing happen. A local LS1 guy had a little something something done to his car and from a roll he just absolutely destroyed me. One day I asked him for a dig race and he agreed. So we went to were I always practice my digs on the street and I put like 3 lengths on him and held him there til 3rd when he started coming back up to me. but I had him when we shut down. He said it didnt count cause he still had more power. I said okay your the dumbass that built a motor like that and no susp mods, rear, or anything to help it hook. You chose your setup and lost deal with it. He still claims a win, cause he WOULD have come around me if we hung on til like 130. haha

Exactly my point.

I hate when people just throw an online H/C package at a car and wonder why they are stuck in 12s and can only race from a ricer roll.
