Default Exhaust/ True Duels ?

Currently have Pacesetter 1 7/8 primaries with 3" collectors, 3" ORY and 3" Magnaflow Cat back with no cat. Would going to a 3" X-pipe true duel set-up help me and if so, how much Tq and HP would I pick up?

Current best 12.98 at 106.34

makes a good bit more, well worth the money. someone will chime in with some numbers im sure.

I am about to do the same thing. It's also cheaper than buying an ORY and cat-back.

My current set-up is only a year and half old. I asked about true duels then, but the local shops all said it wouldn't be worth it. From what reading now on the forums, this seems to be the prefered way to go. What mufflers are the best to use w a true duel set up?

I had a shop do TD over the axle and I supplied the cats and mufflers and it ran me about $650.... A year later I redid them myself with mandrel bent universal kit and it cost me about $400 in tubing and 2 days of my time. Well worth it though.

If you don't mind making a 2 hour drive I could hook you up with a great shop that does incredible true duals...Do a search of my screen name and 3" stainless true duals and you'll see some nice stuff...The shop is in Finksburg, MD...

I used a Jegs 3" universal X-pipe kit and a Jegs aluminized steel 2.5" universal mandrel bent kit.
It wasn't a direct bolt in by any means, but all I used was a cut off saw, wire feed welder, and a tube expander with an impact wrench.
Here's some pics in and out of car with 2 different muffler configs..one is straight thru Dynatechs the other is with Hooker aerochambers for a quiter sound. They connect just in front of the axle using V-band clamps so I can change them fairly easily.
