Went to the track!

Third time to the track, and I rarely race my car ever. I still can't get my take off down, but the goal was to get a 13.

After 5 tries of pretty much just 14.2's regardless of my 60, I got a 13.9.

Heres the breakdown:

R/T .490
60' 2.305
330 6.084
1/8 9.137
MPH 80.52
1000 11.751
1/4 13.965
MPH 102.21

I was pretty excited. I know theres still alot more on the table if I can get my 60' down and/or if I use drag radials.

I found my best results were when I just took 3rd all the way to the fuel cutoff

I don't mean to beat you down, but should you be in the very low 13s with what you have?

not really. My car did not start hitting low 13s till I got the exhaust on it.
He does not have any exhaust work in his sig.

Yeah, just a CAI and the tune wont do much hp 2 the wheels. Get your lt1 breathing better for better results, lol.

I was just basing it on what I've read from the people breaking 13.7 on a stock 'Bird :\ heh Don't mind me, I've never been to the track

dude.... there are factory freaks.... my formula is soo tired it disgusts me.... but it runs good so not time for new engine yet... but my freind had a 95 vert t/a that was doin 12.7's and i mean that was crazy to me stock engine not even a cam.... so dont feel bad with a 13.9... my old t/a went consistant 13.7's and that was with a 1.9 60 foot on street tires and thats not bad for street tires so dont worry bout it...
