If you want to run the true setup you'll have to either get a cowl or in my case I did THE WHOLE conversion lol. Idk personally i think the "custom ones" look crappy. They just never look right to me.

Now that I have a Trans Am, I'm wanting to do the ram air intake set-up. It won't fit as of now because I have a non ram air hood. Anyways, My question is will it be worth taking off my Moroso cold air intake to run a ram air set-up on my car?

For you guys that did this with stock LS1 parts...did you have to relocate any of the sensors? Any wiring at all?
Also..my fans already touch my EWP..did you have to cut into the fan housing to get the radiator to lay back? What all had to be done here? Did you use stock LS1 radiator mounts once it was pushed back or has to be custom?
This looks great...just makes sense you would get cooler air from the LS1 lids...shorter distance to travel which reduces the chances of the air being heated before it gets to the TB. Im sure finding these pieces off of an LS1 is the fun part.
I havent really looked into this much so these questions are a bit blind. Thanks for the help.

How much of a power increase are we talking wit this?? Friend of mine wrecked his LS1 and I can get a SLP lid and radiator support off that. Also, can you run something like the FTRA on the thing too??
