O2's keep going bad, what brand should i get???

Default O2's keep going bad, what brand should i get???

ok, i keep having this problem with me O2's ever since i installed my headers. about every month or 2 a sensor will go bad, idk if its the heat from the headers or do the Bosch o2s suck that bad, what is everyone using for 02's?? Thanks!!

I just read on another forum that when you use headers you may need to use a heated O2 sensor because the exaust gas dosen't reach the required 600 degs. needed for the sensor to read properly.

yup go with delcos.. those bosch o2's suck

Coated headers make it even worse. Buy some 3 wire heated sensors. Really just a swaitched power and a ground above the single wire you have. Helps with that eye tearing rich start up.

Um if anything coated headers would make it better since they help keep the exhaust gases hotter. And our 02 sensors are heated. To the original poster try some ac delco sensors and make sure your not sucking any oil in through your pcv or fresh air hose.
