That's pretty general. Look at spending at least $2500-$6000 on a kit alone. Supporting mods not included!

You can piece a kit together, get some used stuff, do some fabbing and come out ok. I am doing that with my LS1 car. I got the Precision 80mm turbo for $1000. Picked up an intercooler for $125. Going to use truck manifolds flipped around, practically nothing--got them with my iron shortblock. All I need now is wastegate and a blow off valve. Should get off with less than $500 there. Oh yeah flanges too, but what, $100? I am having a local muffler guy fab the piping up when it comes time with aluminized exhaust pipe. He's really reasonable and I know him.

No prob. It's my budget turbo build. Kind of an oxymoron.

Cheap and turbo don't go together. $2K is barely going to let you look through the window at a turbo kit.

with turbos you need to upgrade the fuel and have supporting mods, tuning, esp dyno tuning, thats 125-150 per hour and I know its going to be on there for a while.

I wouldnt expect to get out of it for less then 4k. In the end.
