Nice numbers, did you remove all the exhaust to gain from 370 to 405 or just the cutout open?

I did 365rwhp w/ my le3 setup, 11.7:1 compression 355 with having some issues.
Not with 12.7:1 comp. I run 100 oct. But the timing is not advanced anymore than a pump gas setup. 36 degrees.

Just opened the cutout

Was that on Mustang dyno or Dynojet?

Can you give the specs of the cam? I always like to know those. If it were my car, I'd probably retard the timing and drive it on the street a lot. Ever hear of Indiana Core, Inc there in Corydon? I bought a 6.0 iron shortblock there for my LS1 turbo project for $350. Got the exhaust manifolds, 2 knock sensors, 2 covers, and balancer all included. Only reason I didn't get the valley cover was cuz he didn't have any or he would have let me have it too.

I know 12.7 was pushing it and didn't figure you were on pump gas, but was hoping to see it. Mine was on a dynojet.

Detonation. I guess you can always retard the timing, but that kinda of defeats the point.

Amazingly, I run 12.5 to 1 compression with a DCR of 9.0 to 1 on pump gas all day...I have not noted any extra power raising the timing to 35-36 degree range (checked on dyno and the track)...In fact, 31-32 seems to work very well on my combo. But every combo's different and your VE numbers may be different than my LE 210 AFR's. Also, up here in Washington we only see 80's as the high temp summer months, normally. At the race track Pump 92 seems to carry the same power as race gas for my car (even with the timing jacked to take advantage). Next time I run Juice I'll see if playing with the AFR on race gas "NA" makes any noticeable difference.

Nice! A truly streetable solid. I've got a Neal Chance for my LS1 car and I hope it can really deliver the torque multiplication like your setup. on a great setup.

Checkout Speed Secrets (Twofast4lv). If he can't, I guarantee he knows who can.
