Mine has 223,000mis on itand still running strong. It is a 93Z w/a4L60. Granted it is Very modded, i have had it since 148,000miles, and it has been great.I will say though, i have had a 95' ZA4, and a 95TA M6, and loved them both. In my opinion 95's are the best, and are supposewd to have the best internals, Powdered rods and all.but i do love my 93. I gave 3500 for mine back in 2002. Good luck

Mine has 182,000 and still runs great.

I've seen lower mileage cars(70-100k) go for around 5 grand before, but Id look more specifically for a car that has been well maintained. These cars are old so they're going to have issues regardless of mileage.

I got my 93 with 93K for $3,800. Unmodded, but I think it had some stuff done to it before. I know it had catless exhaust and a Hypercrap chip, there's gauge pod holes in the A-Pillar, but other than that, I don't know what else was done, or how it was treated. Tranny is very first, and I can get 2nd gear out of it, so for all I know it's been rebuilt *shrug* I should use the number I have and try and call the pre-previous owner heh

I bought my Formula M6 last summer for $4200. Body is great, no rips in the seats and runs great. All I had to do was fix the intake manifold oil leak.
The guy I bought it from had every single maintenance receipt from 2000 onward, so I knew he how he took care of it and he changed the oil regularly. To me that was the key to knowing I had a good chance of getting a good car in the deal.
When doing the oil leak fix over the winter, I took the valve covers off and sure enough...not a spec of sludge. Yeah!

Yeah, I know my car runs slow for what it has done. It might not be cammed, but it sure does have some lope( how much lopier do 1.6 RR make a car sound?). I have noticed the TQ number was low.
I have almost learned to live with the slow car. Since it is so loud and they can hear lope, people just assume it moves and I don't have to worry about races.
I would like to get the power my car sohuld have.Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I bought my 94 Z28 with 130k and the head gaskets went out 10k later. Even when the compression check went fine....Take a test drive and a scanner with you. Amazing what seems to pop up after a good test drive....

Ok now I'm confused.
You say your car 'might' not be cammed?
But your sig says you have an LT4 Hotcam.

And you also think 1.6RR's will give your car lope?
Roller Rockers help, but they won't drastically change your exhaust note, if at all.

(Im not trying to mess with you, but If Im reading this right...its sounds like you bought a mystery car and the seller quite possibly lied to you because with those mods and that car you should know rockers won't give you car lope, and also whether or not your car has a hotcam)

I was going to ask about your driveline, maybe the stall is malfunctioning, or you have a soft spot in the drive line (rear, tranny, etc) but now I don't know what to say.

Mine has 118k miles and runs perfectly. Tranny shifts solid with no notchiness, no rear end noise and the motor has no misses. Oil pressure is a touch over 20 at hot idle. Pulls 105mph on bolt on's and 116 on a 100 shot. Its a decent daily driver.. altho the fuel mileage could be improved

I'm saying everyone who hears it and knows LT1/LS1s say hotcam( and other people jsut say what cam is that). I was saying, if isn't cammed, then the only thing that I could think off to help the lopey sound would be 1.6RR( but as with you, I din't think it changes the sound to much).
The only weak thing I could see is the tranny. THe tuner told me I mgiht want to up the shift line pressure.
I know the car used to not want to shift at all( it would go up to 3400 before shifting) but a mechanic, who changed the cap and rotor changed it so now it shifts earlier. Any one know how ot up the line pressure so I get soem ahrder shifts and hopefully solve my problem, somewhat.
