LT1 Mile Limit
I've seen lower mileage cars(70-100k) go for around 5 grand before, but Id look more specifically for a car that has been well maintained. These cars are old so they're going to have issues regardless of mileage.
The guy I bought it from had every single maintenance receipt from 2000 onward, so I knew he how he took care of it and he changed the oil regularly. To me that was the key to knowing I had a good chance of getting a good car in the deal.
When doing the oil leak fix over the winter, I took the valve covers off and sure enough...not a spec of sludge. Yeah!
motor is still strong at 80k,laid down 293rwhp and 306rwtq 3 weeks ago in Daytona at 101 degrees and 23% humidity with only the following mods:
bbk 52mm TB,bbk shorties,no cats,flowmaster,CAI,TB bypass,air pump and EGR
I have almost learned to live with the slow car. Since it is so loud and they can hear lope, people just assume it moves and I don't have to worry about races.
I would like to get the power my car sohuld have.Any ideas on what could be wrong?

You say your car 'might' not be cammed?
But your sig says you have an LT4 Hotcam.
And you also think 1.6RR's will give your car lope?
Roller Rockers help, but they won't drastically change your exhaust note, if at all.
(Im not trying to mess with you, but If Im reading this right...its sounds like you bought a mystery car and the seller quite possibly lied to you because with those mods and that car you should know rockers won't give you car lope, and also whether or not your car has a hotcam)
I was going to ask about your driveline, maybe the stall is malfunctioning, or you have a soft spot in the drive line (rear, tranny, etc) but now I don't know what to say.
The only weak thing I could see is the tranny. THe tuner told me I mgiht want to up the shift line pressure.
I know the car used to not want to shift at all( it would go up to 3400 before shifting) but a mechanic, who changed the cap and rotor changed it so now it shifts earlier. Any one know how ot up the line pressure so I get soem ahrder shifts and hopefully solve my problem, somewhat.
