Default SB2 LT1 - New Dyno #'s

For those who have not been following, the motor is a 396" LT1 with Nextel Cup SB2.2 heads and intake, DFI GEN 7 and a NX direct port system.

After some bearing issues it finally made the smoke we were looking for.

All numbers through a GForce T56 and a 12 bolt:

626 RWHP on motor
853 RWHP on a 200 shot

The nitrous run was very conservative and has more tuning in it as it is a touch on the fat side.

Off to the track next week

Not bad. Who ported the heads? And I'm guessing you aren't going to keep the 200 shot on very long, are you going for the 6-speed record?

wow nice numbers. Im not too familiar with nitrous but I always though you get a little under your nitrous hp rating. here you got 27 over!

We did not get any torque readings but it made 550 ftlbs from 3500-7000 on the engine dyno N/A.

The heads came from the Petty racing busch program. We did not port them any further. 6sp record...naaa That might determine how much more we need however right now it's making about 1040 at the crank so we're pretty to close to the limit of the block.

NX always rates there hp settings at the wheels and they rate them conservative. This is a real aggresive 200 and it's not tuned to the limit yet so there's a little more in it.

Speed Density: That's funny, I remember driving it without. Yes it does and has a full interior. I drove it to the dyno...75 miles, in morning rush traffic. It got 11.5 miles per gallon too.

StealthFormula: That was us. Your car is very nice as well. My first car was a 94 formula, looked just like yours. PM me sometime and maybe we can get together.

Taubr Unit: Lots of machine work and expensive parts I'll give you a more complete list in a PM if you want.

Jason, Ellis, Tony and everyone else thanks for the kind words, it's been a long road.

Oh yeah. and...

Taner....I got somethin' for ya....

That's a real hoss. Does driving it with a 6 speed make it a little easier or a little harder? What kinda gear?
