So how close are everyone elses plug wire heads to the primany tubes?

Pretty close but not touching. I've never had a problem with them. They're all about 1/2" or something.

I never had issues with header wrap. If you did get water on the wrap, 1 minute of runtime will cook the water right off. BUT ONCE RUST KICKS IN...... it does what it wants to do.

I'd run the sleeves over the wires. I just did a plug and wire change, and well my #6 wire is starting to look cooked again. This is with BBK shorties though, when my new motor goes in with the pacesetter longtubes, I am going to run them OTVC and with heat sleeves.
