Default bolt sizes

while doing heads on my 383 i had all my bolts lined up, and my g/f decided to clean and move EVERYTHING. She thought it looked neat but she threw all my bolts into one box, i've gotten the head bolts and intake bolts but im not sure what the sizes are for the alternator, power steering etc. are. If there is a website or something that has bolt sizes it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

the alternator bolts are all grayish in color, have 13mm heads, one is about 1.5 inches long, one is about 2 inches, and one is about 3.5 inches with a 15mm nut.

powersteering is held on with 2 black, 10mm head bolts that are about 3.5 inches.

those are off the top of my head, what other bolts do you need to figure out?

Water pump are all 14mm heads. There's one stud on the driver side where the air pump used to be. I think all but one are fairly long with only about 1" of thread on them. The short one should be the stud. The starter I believe also has 14mm heads and there's 2 of them. Just eyeball the starter housing and you'll figure those two out.

What, starter? I'm talking about the stock bolts. I've managed to keep them all this time.

Well I'm gonna say they're metric cuz everything is on these late model cars. Threads might be standard, but I am almost positive all the heads are metric.

thats kind of what I thought too. just went and checked and a 9/16 fits perfect on the waterpump bolts. might just be close enough to a 14mm to fit. *shrug*

Well let's see...... 11mm is close to 7/16, 13mm - 1/2, 16mm - 5/8, 19mm - 3/4. I guess it would be close, but I'm not gonna go check, lol.
