I run a 58MM BBK, but it's really only because it was already on my car when I bought it.
I run a ported manifold with my LE H/C package.
No idle issues

Summit Racing 58mm here. Love the performance. Idles smooth as hell. Looks real good being polished and all. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Heard alot of bad about the BBK units.

I run an ASM 58mm with a ported intake, h/c etc... It's fantastic, feels amazingly better than the stocker. I would easily recommend the ASM as the top quality throttle body for our cars.

Edit: I heard of too many sticking issues with BBK and Holley, you get what you pay for...

Looking back, I would have bought an AS&M over my BBK. Granted I haven't had any issues with the BBK, but I agree the AS&M is nice. If the Summit had been available at the time, I'd have bought it.
