Default Progress on the B4C

So this has been about 8-9 months in the making hasn't been my proudest time in life but it really has been the most eye opening, I took for granted what I had one of the meanest Fbodys Id ever driven B4c with the front handling suspension package . . . and all the bolt on goodies. Back in October I had just had the car serviced and was taking it for a cruise story goes I was fallowing behind this guy in a mustang because we where in a fairly large group cursing down the highway we came around a part of town I was unfamiliar with and went under an over pass, I was aware of a stop sign in the distance but apparently the mustang in front of me wasnt as I was going to slow down prepares to run it almost side swiping a car he break checks me and I rear-end him. . . .the most upsetting day of my life and the worse feeling I could have ever had no matter what he did and what I did I fell to this day like I fucked up I shouldnt have been fallowing him that close and even if he was a jackass it was my fault for hitting him. . . .Needless to say Im sitting here with a broken Camaro and a heart full of guilt and he went off break checked two more guys totaled his car and now drives a new 2007 mustang. . . .Ive learned my lesson and currently Im saving for a daily driver to keep my beast away from the recklessness of other teenagers.

So heres the damage from october

The frame was perfectly fine and I did not bend anything I had talked to a guy at SDPC here in lubbock and he told me that these cars have very touchy sensors and they'll blow at any speed *needless to say i'm disabling the airbags* Pretty much just the exterior apperance is the only thing that was really damaged aside from the airbags. . .

this is what my car looked like a few months ago when i stripped everything out of it *this was before stripping the dash which is gone now the car is now a shell and drive train.

and TADA - Finally after the help of a very caring LS1tech member I got the front end back together *dont worrie haven't bolted it down yet this was just a test fit* I'll have it painted and strapped on there for good in a few weeks. . . .

Now all I need is the airbags to fill in the holes to re-inforce the dash and the dash itself I only need the main dash assembly piece as the rest of my interior is perfectly A okay!

good luck man looks like a nice car, I like special edition cars, B4C was something I always wanted as well as a 3rd gen 1LE Camaro but I have an 86 Iroc in excellent condition and a 94 Formula, as well as an 86 Z28..... gotta love the F-Body's huh... well get it back together and cherish that car man....
