Ok well my car has 142K on it and I purchased the car July 18, 2006, two days after my 17th birthday. Sadly to say, I haven't changed the spark plugs out or the spark plug wires. I bought some AC Delco spark plugs the other day and I'm thinkin about ordering some MSD wires pretty soon. I'm also thinking about getting me either the Lingenfelter CAI or the Moroso CIA, I'm hoping those will help my gas mileage out some what. Also I have noticed that my low colant light has came on but I never really payed any attention to it. I know it's now low on colant of anything, just the sensor is out but I'm thinking that might cause a little trouble there also. Maybe it sending in more air/fuel... who knows. I have the new sensor and I'm just waiting for Dad to get back into town so he could help me instal it, don't wanna mess anything up so I'll let him do it

And thats going 85 with the A/C on. My in city is like 14 mpg, but i beat the hell out of my car. I have NGK TR6 plugs gapped @ .040

Ive got a 95 with headers, y-pipe moroso air intake, cat delete and 3 inch fully opened borla....etc, A4 with seemingly stock gears and on a recent 4 hour trip to the beach i got around 32 mpg between 60-75 mph.....

Well lets put it this way the guys that are under 18mpg are doing bad. My dads durango gets 16mpg in the city and 21-23mpg on the highway running 70-75mph cruising. (on a hemi 4*4) and his mustang gets better gas milage than my golf 1,3 liter on the highway which is depressing for me. (But dunno what my chevelle will use with a 4L60E and a BBC with 2,73s)

no exactly sure at this time what my gearing is like, bought the car as is and havent had a reason to investigate until next week when i rip the tranny out for a rebuild...car still launches hard, and has power at 140+ but on the highway the gas mileage is unreal
