Omgoose!! It's... well too big to fit in an F-Body engine bay due to the wiper cowl But damn!

Costs $3500 as stated in here:

The cowl hood is all and well if you want to chop up your WIPER cowl. The back of the LT1 intake sits under that and is about 2" shy of touching it.

Wilson make some nice stuff, but it's pricey.
I'm sure they'll make one to fit an Fbody if someone ponies up the cash.
I think that was the thread where I asked them about it.

It would have to be notched I'd think, to keep that size at least.

I wonder why no one's done like the SLP TPI Firehawk and made the intake wider instead of taller...

The pic didn't load the first go'round. I'll be damned, that intake IS in an F-Body. The bare wiper cowl totally threw me off, I thought it was an old car getting turned into a modern-powered street rod!

Yes, now you HAVE to explain why it is eternally shelved!

It REALLY is a long drawn out buch of bull, here is the condensed version:

My(sperm donor) father and I decide to build a car,We build the car,so he comes and lives with me(for 3.5 years), he gets $XXXX of disability a month. He only pays for the cable and groceries, takes none of the house duties.....car is apart for 5 years. Car is done waiting on engine for 1 year...I got tired of his crap, his lying and his lazy azz and an engine that was held over my head, changing the engine combination CONSTANTLY so he could stay in his free place to live...so I kicked him AND his engine out.

That intake belongs to him, along with the engine he owes me $4800 dollars on that he has. He lives with his sister and niece...mooching off of them when he gets plenty enough to live on his own.

If he was smart(which he aint) he would sell all that crap and buy him a trailer to live in so his sister would not have to support him.I supported him more years in HIS life than he supported me in MINE...how messed up is THAT?

He has no car and nowhere to build a car to put that engine in. SO it will stay in storage till he kicks the bucket. Even if he could save enough money mooching off his sister to buy a rolling chassis, he has nowhere to assemble it, nor will his gimped up *** be able to assemble it by himself and he has no friends because he is a lying d!ck.

There is PLENTY more to the story.....but it will not be told.By me anyway.

So there ya have it.

Now ya know.

WOW...sorry to hear that, I know exactly how it feels to deal with a deadbeat family member (which is MY egg donor) hopefully this gets taken care of before he realizes that his life and all of its wasted moments come to an end.

I'm so sorry to hear about that trouble David
That does explain your earlier comment though.
I sure hope things are better for you now that he doesn't live there.

I have an engine in the car(see above) I was without him for all my childhood years, he never paid ONE DIME of child support. I found HIM when I was 19.

He is a deadbeat looser....I do not need him.

It will not get "taken care of" I could care less about his sorry azz. He has NEVER built and finished a car on his own, all he wants to do is buy parts and pile them up

but ANYWAY..that's da stury.

I have a feeling no one will see it come out of storage.....you will get to see mine run soon though. Got a few growing pains to iron out....then when it cools off it will go to the track.
