Default slp loudmouth 1?

i have a flowmaster catback and i absolutely hate it. i was searching for a slp loudmouth1 catback for my 94 formula but i cant find one. they all say ls1? soo will the ls1 kit work? is all the piping ran the same on lt1s ans ls1s?

youll need the S pipe for it to work. $70 extra.

oh ok.. is this exhaust worth it on these cars? i loved it on my cobra.. what exhaust would you guys prefer? power wise..

S pipe? My loudmouth came straight from and LS1 and it fit fine.

The SLP Loudmouth rocks the ****.

Power wise all catbacks are the same, but I would give the edge to the Loudmouth on a bolt on car, there is NO restriction. The Muffler, or what they call shotgun resonator is bascially a 3 1/2" hollow can with SLP engraved on it.
Its also 3" Stainless Steel from cat to axle.

With Longtube headers it can get raspy, but thats easily fixable by swapping out the resonator for another one... Borla, Magnaflow, Dynomax, Hooker... all make shotgun resonator mufflers.

The Loudmouth sounds great. Loud idle, good rumble and great WOT.
You will get some drone with the LM1 but you bought an LT1 Fbody...if you want a quiet car, the Honduh Dealership is right down the street.

There are alot of good catbacks, so don't lose any sleep over it. They all have thier distinct tone.

It depends on your mods, future mods, and what you have planned.

theres a kit for an S pipe that is for 93-95 LTx cars for $70

how did your ls1 loudmouth fit your car? everyone says you have to buy the other pipe to make it work? do you have any pics of yours underneath? id like to see how you made it work. i loved my slp on my kenne bell cobra. it was loud as ****! i want that on my lt1.. anyone saleing a catback!?

i have a 96 t/, so it said i had to buy the $30 piece so i did, and i didn't use it ethier, mine fit right up.

yeah, but on the site it said 96-97 need a different piece so i ordered it but it did fit right up. are 96s suppose to fit right up?

i think 96-02 F-bodies had a different bend in the exhaust so itll fit up.

do you have an ORY?

i had LM2 on my formy for about 2 years... and recently sold it becuase i didnt quite like the sound after i removed my cats.... i got GMMG now and i wouldnt have it any other way... i had hooker on my old lt1 t/a tho (single cat car) and i loved it.... i dont like the tips it comes with but that can be changed.... hooker is probably$450 less than the GMMG.... just for a reference... and about the same as the slp

i think it has to do with the S bend going around the trans cross member
