97 ramair go with the Pacesetter LT's, and get the emissions ones if you need them carb legal. but if you need cats thats a different story probably go with Mac Mids. Just my .02 However mids will not give you the power of LT's. Also a couple more good mods for you would be; gears(6 speed cars have 3.42's), a stall, A mail order tune(I've heard hypertechs are junk- although I don't know personally), and UD pulley kit, and an LS1 Aluminum Driveshaft helps a little bit too... good luck with your mods.

I had a brain fart! but anyways all the other stuff I said would help u a bit....or u could always go supercharger/procharger too. that would be my suggestion, but didn't know what kind of money your working with. My friend has a 96 with a vortech and he loves it. another buddy has an sts kit on his 96 formula and he likes it alot.
