My car will have LT headers, Matching Y-pipe, (with a cut-out) CAI, LT4 KM, ported stock heads, ported intake manifold, and ported TB, all matched, with that cam. I'm going to use the stock stall as well and get the car tuned. Do you think I could manage trapping 112ish with those mods and that cam?

It sounds very streetable and I like that. Also, how does the cam sound? Does the car have a nice rumble, or is it close to a stock sound?
The heads were ported and flowed ~240/170 cfm. The cam has a little bit of lope, but if you are running it through a catback you could pass it off as a bolton car.

Alright, so you suggest this cam? Do you know of any other cams that would be good with my setup? Maybe a little more agressive than that cam? Possibly 220/224 around those lines...

My main goal is to be able to beat a C5 Zo6. If I can do that, I'm happy. I just hope that cam will be able to do it, if not I want to find something else a little more agressive.

Alright, well i bought the cam I was looking at originally.

I called crane about 5 times and talked to 5 different people about it and they all said (except for 1 person) that this cam was a good idea and is ideal for the LT1 without a stall. They said it makes good overall power and will be perfect for an everyday driver. That is what i'm looking for.

Someone at Crane isn't a team player!

Be sure to get rockers and springs, etc that the cam needs. Crane probably told you that. Don't second guess them.

I'm not. I'm already getting new springs, pushrods, valves, etc...I may wait on the rockers though. I don't need them, but I know i'll make a little more power with the 1.6's. That will just be a future mod.

Besides, since i'm keep my stock lifters, I don't want too much lift and cause a problem.

Odd, that's how I purchased mine. (06/02/2006)
I also bought lifters, rockers and pushrods from him.
(I purchased the LE2 heads from a board member)

Bret's a great guy to deal with.
