Default LE1 Cam specs?

Does anyone know the specs on the LE1 cam? I want to get something similiar to go with my ported and polished heads. I haven't gotten the exact flow bench numbers, but they will flow very similiar to the LE2 heads...I just want a good street cam with top end without having to use a stall....

Unless someone is a ******* and post them, your not going to get them. Lets put it this way it isnt your average cam grind. Email Bret Bauer, or Lloyd. OR do a cz28.com search, hundreds of LE dyno combos.

talk to lloyd about his 1.5 cam, bigger than the one yet smaller than the 2, great for street car with stock bottom end aka my car.

I really don't get it, what is the big deal? I just want to know the specs, so I can get a similar cam. I know his combo works well and it's not like I can get his *exact* cam, so telling me the duration, lift, etc shouldn't be a problem...

I think it's annoying he doesn't selll the cams by themselves. You have to buy the *package.*

If no one will say, fine it doesn't matter. Honestly, what i'm looking for is a cam around 218/225 or so with about .500 and 114 lsa. If I could get something like that, I would be happy. Any of you know of a cam that is similar. I see that as being a good street cam. Not to much, but enough.

I loved that cam, out of the 3 I had in my car it was the favorite by far. I went 12.4@115 with it just bogging out of the hole to a 2.0 60" on heads that flowed 240/169cfm. I was also on a mail order tune with the a/f in the mid 11's, and valve float over 5800 RPM's. Drove like stock, had a shitload of lowend, but still ran killer times. I actually trapped 1mph less when I went with the gm846 over that cam.

Cam selection will depend on application and which bolt-ons you have/will do.

IIRC, and I'd need to double check, my buds was a 22x/22x, mid .500s on the lift.

So, you had this cam with an m6? What mods did you exactly have to trap 115? That would be nice if I could do that.

I'm getting my heads, intake, and throttle body port matched and I was thinking about going with that cam. How much power do you think I can make? Keep in mind I'm an A4 with 3:23's.

I had a cai, stock tb, longtubes, hooker y-pipe, and a hooker catback. I had an auto and went 12.5@111 with a slipping tranny on the stock stall, then swapped in a 6-speed. I went trapped 114.3 the 1st 2 runs of the night, then dropped the muffler off my hooker catback and went 115.1 the last 2 runs so it was probably around 360rwhp with the muffler off.

That cam you listed is decent but I don't like the lack of lift on it. Looks almost stock. I think I'd go with one of the XFI grinds, maybe the 465 or 466

If you want to get a cam similar to what he provides then get a Hot Cam or CC503 or GM846. He tells you that his LE1 cam is very similar to those in terms of hp/tq. If you dont' like that then e-mail Bret, AI, Joe O, etc. and have them make one for you based on what you want. The key is knowing what you want. Most people don't know what they want because they never have driven anything other than stock. What's just enough for you may be too much for someone else or not enough for another person so you have to know what you want.

Hmm, nice. So, you didn't even have your heads ported? I find that a little hard to believe. (maybe you did and i'm just not catching it)

My car will have LT headers, Matching Y-pipe, (with a cut-out) CAI, LT4 KM, ported stock heads, ported intake manifold, and ported TB, all matched, with that cam. I'm going to use the stock stall as well and get the car tuned. Do you think I could manage trapping 112ish with those mods and that cam?

It sounds very streetable and I like that. Also, how does the cam sound? Does the car have a nice rumble, or is it close to a stock sound?

If you're not going route of a LE cam, which they do sell individually cause I was going to do a LE2 package one thing at a time, then look into the Comp XFI grinds, I have one now and love it,(prolly woulda loved some heads to go with it too but money only comes in so fast) it's listed in my sig and it's not too too big but it's plenty big enough for me, and my car is just another lil ol Cam only A4 LT1
