I got your PM but if you don't mind I'll go ahead and reply in here so others can see it too. What other mods does your car have right now? Anything? Also you don't get JUST the cam, you will need other components for the valve train also but lets not get into that until we have a little background on your car.

Ok, just wanted to make sure you weren't going to try camming a bone stock car
The main things you will need are the cam, Some good 1.6 Roller rockers, some good springs (Comp 918 bee hives used to be great but Comp has issues with them right now so you don't want them at the moment), heat treated pushrods, a timing chain, and if you are over 100k miles or close new lifters as well. I think the locks and retainers and whatnot should come with springs but I dunno about that for sure. Somebody that has actually done a cam swap will be able to tell you. I know the basics and whatnot but I'm really not super knowledgable about cam swaps. Partly because that's pretty far off for me. I can't give you an exact e/t that you'll get but mid 12s should be attainable probably. That's a complete guess though because your car/elevation/all the other factors can make it go up or down.
EDIT: A higher stall and some 3.73s would REALLY wake the car up probably. Especially with the cam. Don't expect the rear end to last though.

stock ported heads are great for lower cubic inch motors. ex. stock 350-355. 383-higher cubes, you might want to look into aftermarket heads for peak power. you might want to look into lloyd elliots heads/cam packages. he does great work, and his cams make killer power. i def. should have went with one of his grinds over my 847. although im happy with the power this cam made, i could have made higher power in the lower rpms with his cam compared to the 847. heads, with cc503 cam should be mid-low 12's and even high 11's, depending on application.

The CC503 has a little bit more duration.

yea i know the 503 cam has alittle more on the duration side, but the 305 cam was the cam he was using, which is just a tad bigger then the hotcam. it was quite impressive with the times he had. but Comp Cams makes the cam, and the 305, 503, 306, etc are just part numbers and it makes it easier to call it by that.

In the world of nitrous, forget there was ever such a thing as a "NOS cam." The 503 is a Comp grind. It will take spray just fine. Also it was noted to get new lifters since the motor had some miles on it. Get new lifters if there are 20K miles on them. I have seen low mile lifters give out just last weekend!

Agreed, I have a friend that equired of a Comp Tech about a "good" n2o cam. The guys reply was "All cams are good n2o cams"
