What kind of headers? LT1???
I must be the only person in the world that has had a problem with the Pacesetters. I have shortie Pacesetters and after installed they were rubbing on the steering shaft. Now I have to replace the steering box with an LS1 unit. 100 dollars spent now, and well see how it works out. ?????
Would love to have a set of Kooks but for the money you can't beat Pacesetters. I have the LTs with a GMMG exhaust. Sounds mean under accelleration! I don't know why but all the ceramic is burnt off from about a 1/3 down to the collectors. I do drive it in the winter though so maybe that's why????
I just purchased the LT1 DynaTech LongTube drag headers from JEGS. They were 479 and that was without tax and without the collecters. They were $285 extra and another $75 for O2 sensor ports. Almost 800 for all of it but they are ceramic coated inside and out collecters and all. I feel like I have something different compared to everyone else. I am very impressed on the design of these headers. Theygo down like a long tube under the car and curve out like they are going towards the doors.... weird huh?
i have pacesetter long tubes ceramic coated and i love them real easy install. dont get the shorty pacesetter i bought those and sent them straight back they were the most stupid design and it hit my steering coulum everytime i turned the wheel.

Verdad Gallardo Not Pacesetter shorties. The long tubes seem to get good reviews but the cast manifold replacements from Pacesetter SUCK. Im currently switching my steering box out with one from a 99 fbody to get more clearance around the steering shaft. A F__king nightmare. All because the drivers side manifold was rubbing on the steering shaft. On the other hand, if your willing to spend another weekend swapping your power steering box out for a better sound go for it. If I had a choice again I would try another brand other than Pacesetter.
