Guys this 6-speed Vette will trap 150+ mph. I hope you can make it Joel!

tony,

actually if he is making that much power he will probably break the trans, lol!!! trust me i know what happens at about 1000 fwhp.

i too have towed from canada to No Problem Raceway in La. but honestly driving more time than you spend at the track, especially when it costs $3 +per gallon, ouch!!!
i did memphis this year for HR PGD, and 12 hours was too flippin' far. 8 or so hours is about as far as I can spare time for. that just takes away from work. it is near impossible to get time off as it is.

if one could be done east side, i would recommend Norwalk, it is the best track i have ever been to. i am not saying it beacuse it is 3 hours away either.

shouldn't this be limited to LT1's?

Taner I think Vettes have the Viper 6-speed right? They can hold up to more power.

Where ever it ends up being I really hope you can make it. Will not be the same without you there throwing those gears! The majority will have to drive a distance to get there.

Damn Joel!! Whats up man?? This is Kyle. Been a looooooong time. Glad to see you still have that vette. My formula probably won't be ready for this event but I'll probably be hitching a ride with Tony. Hope to see you there.

Whats up Kyle!!?? It has been a VERY LONG time. Still have her! I guess it will just depend on where the event is more than anything.

So what kinda time frame are you guys thinking of? I heard October.

My car is not togther as of yet, should be late this year, but if this LTX event could be somewhere central I'd have two LT's from CO coming.

That is a problem as I also will be in Vegas for SEMA this year.

We are still trying to get stuff together, dont get your hopes up, but definatly dont think we arent trying to make this happen.

Tony.

I think it's great that you guys are putting the effort in to make this happen!

Just a suggestion though... maybe schedule it for sometime in the spring? That way people have more time to get the car done, budget in travel expenses, ask for time off work, etc. There would also be more track dates available to choose from.

Being in the spring might be an option. The tracks are already pretty much booked this year anyways. I am waiting to hear back from one of the tracks.

x2, I could definitely make it in the spring.

I couldn't commit 100% to November, but I would try to be there.

May 15, 16, & 17, is the National Fbody Motorsports Event (NFME). If this LTX event can't happen this fall it will need to be early spring, March would be best for me.
